The Compartment seeks to achieve the investment objective by taking long and short positions primarily in European & North American (US and Canada) fixed income securities. Equity securities may be also considered although with a limit of 20% of the net assets of the Compartment. The Compartment will gain direct and indirect exposure to fixed income securities issued by corporate and government issuers and equities which are listed or traded on a Regulated Market, and that are rated investment grade or sub-investment grade by an internationally recognised rating service or determined to be of similar creditworthiness by the Management Company. The Compartment may invest up to 100%1 of its net asset value in non-investment grade fixed income securities, and up to 20% in unrated fixed income securities.
