(RTTNews) - Immuneering Corporation (IMRX), a Massachusetts-based biopharmaceutical company Monday announced a positive update from its Phase 2a study of IMM-1-104 combined with modified FOLFIRINOX (mFFX) in first-line pancreatic cancer. The company also provided a corporate update.

Since its last update on January 7, 2025, Immuneering Corporation has reported two new partial responses or PRs. As of January 6, 2025, six evaluable patients were enrolled in the Phase 2a study of IMM-1-104 in combination with modified FOLFIRINOX or mFFX for first-line pancreatic cancer. Among which, three patients achieved partial responses with one unconfirmed, resulting in an overall response rate or ORR of 50 percent, with four patients continuing treatment. The historic ORR for FOLFIRINOX alone is 32 percent.

The combination of IMM-1-104 and mFFX was generally well tolerated. IMRX is also evaluating the 320 mg QD dose of IMM-1-104 with modified FOLFIRINOX.

Moreover, the company has announced that it raised net proceeds of $13.7 million through its At-the-Market or ATM facility, following the January 7, 2025 update on its ongoing Phase 2a clinical trial.

Immuneering Corporation expects to release further Phase 2a data for IMM-1-104 in the second quarter of 2025. Additionally, the company plans to initiate Phase 2a trials for IMM-1-104 in combination with a BRAF inhibitor and with a checkpoint inhibitor in 2025.

Monday IMRX closed at $2.01 or 2.8985% lower and after market hours declined and closed at $2 or 0.4975% lower on the Nasdaq Global Select Market.
