InterDigital Lifts Q1 2025 Outlook Following New Smartphone License Deal With Major Chinese Vendor

(RTTNews) - InterDigital, Inc. (IDCC), Thursday announced a new multi-year, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty bearing smartphone license agreement with a major Chinese vendor.

Following this deal, the company updated its financial outlook for the first quarter of 2025.

The company now sees revenue of $202 to $206 million for the quarter compared to the previously estimated $112 to $116 million.

InterDigital projects earnings of $2.78 to $2.99 per share instead of previously estimated $0.58 to $0.79 per share, and adjusted earnings of $3.66 to $3.90 a share compared to previously expected $1.19 to $1.42 a share.

Analysts, on average, estimate earnings of $1.43 per share, and revenue of $141.02 million for the same period.

In the pre-market hours, InterDigital's stock is climbing 6.28 percent, to $217 on the Nasdaq.
