The fund mainly invests in investment grade corporate bonds denominated in euro that are issued to finance climate and environment-friendly projects such as renewable energy, energy efficiency, pollution prevention, clean transportation, water management, circular economy, biodiversity conservation and green construction (green bonds). These investments may be from anywhere in the world, including China, Russia and other emerging markets, and some of them may be below investment grade. The fund generally favours direct investment but may at times invest through derivatives.
