Fleet Space, billionaire-backed hydrogen startup Koloma partner on exploration

Australian space explorer Fleet Space Technologies and Koloma, a tech-enabled natural hydrogen exploration company backed by billionaires Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos, announced Monday a partnership to accelerate exploration and development of natural hydrogen resources worldwide. Natural hydrogen has emerged as an increasingly viable source of renewable, zero-carbon energy.  Leveraging Fleet Space’s end-to-end exploration platform powered by space and AI – ExoSphere – Koloma will generate real-time 3D subsurface imaging of prospective hydrogen-forming geological formations and opportunity zones on a global scale. Koloma has developed a data-driven exploration approach – combining advanced data analytics tools and proprietary data – to identify and commercialise hydrogen reserves.
